My wife and I own three dogs and we love them to death. They are truly wonderful dogs that are sweet, friendly and lovable. Maybe it's because that's how my wife and I treat them. I talked about this in an earlier post called "Powerful Environment". It really does make a difference if you surround yourself in a positive environment. Our dogs are no different so we treat them the same way. It just makes everything that much better and less stressful.
I know we aren't the only people that love our pets because there are millions of people out there that say the same thing about their pets. For some people their furry friends are a welcomed relief from the day to day challenges we face. Coming home to a loving animal is pretty special. When you talk about unconditional love, that is what it looks like.
The pet indusrty is gigantic because people love to take care of their pets. When you go into a pet store there are hundreds of products to choose from in order to pamper your pet. One way to pamper them is through food. Have you seen the prices of the food? And we have three dogs! It is more expensive to feed them because we want to give them the best food we can. It is a bit more spendy, but it's worth it so they can have a better quality of life.
As I was walking around the pet store buying some food, I started to think about what I was doing. I was spending more money on my dog food so they could feel better and be healthier. Then I thought, what if I'm like millions of other people who take care of their pets in this fashion? I was thinking of so many people that should be doing the same thing with themselves.
In Nov. 2011, I began the "7 Day Challenge" and that seven days changed my life. It was at that time I decided to take responsibility for my health. Once I stayed on the "Challenge", I began to lose my cravings for food. I started feeling better and my results were unbelievable. So it dawned on me that if everyone would treat themselves like they treat their pets, we would have more healthy people on this planet. The more healthy people we have, the less costly our healthcare would be.
I just don't understand why more people don't treat themselves the same as their pets. Is the food in our supply that addicting? Is it that people just don't want to give up their favorites? Is it too hard to change eating habits? Whatever the reason, they decide to choose polluted food over nutrient dense food that nourishes the body because they don't know they have a choice. This is where I come in. I educate people and let them know that they do have a choice. They can change by eating food that has nutrition with no empty calories. It is hard for people to imagine that I eat the majority of my food from Isagenix. For me it is the most efficient, effective, affordable way to gain better health. IT WORKS!!!!
The next time you are in the pet store, stop, and think about treating yourself as well as you treat your pet. You can start off slowly, but just start. I would recommend the "7 Day Challenge" as a starting point. Give your body the break it deserves. Hey, get through the "Challenge" and then give yourself a treat! Woof, Woof.
